If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough and a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days.

Do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice.

If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.

doctor_examining_childIf you would like a routine appointment outside of normal surgery hours you can access the Extended Hours service. This service can offer GP appointments  in our area, after our surgery is closed, for people who have trouble getting to us in our opening hours.

These appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance. You can call book via the reception team at Handbridge Medical Centre or call the Extended Hours service direct to arrange this yourself if that is more convenient on 0300 123 7743.

The extended hour clinic also offers, nurse appointments, phlebotomy (blood test) appointments and physio appointments, please specify to the receptionist the type of appointment you require.
