When We Are Closed

Handbridge Medical Centre is closed on weekends and bank holidays.

Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust employ local GPs and nurses to operate an Emergency 'Out of Hours' service overnight and during the weekends when the medical centre is closed. If you need to contact a doctor in as urgent out of hours please telephone 111.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
